About Anand Unnikrishnan

Anand advises some of the world’s largest corporations, asset and commodity managers, and investors on a wide variety of Indian and international tax, trade, and customs issues. He is also regularly instructed to lead contentious proceedings in those areas at all higher appellate levels across several sectors including IT & ITeS, financial services, industrials, and infrastructure. He has previously advised both the Government of India and the Government of Kerala on income tax and GST policy formulation, instructed regulatory bodies and educational institutions in setting up their tax training programs, and provided pro-bono counsel to low-income taxpayers against unreasonable tax audits.

Prior to joining Anagram Partners, Anand worked with one of India’s pre-eminent tax practices and also independently litigated tax, trade, and customs cases before several High Courts.
