Afaan has over 8 years of experience in advising clients on tax matters. Within the domain of taxation, he focuses on both advisory and litigation. Other than tax treaty interpretation, cross border structuring (inbound and outbound), his work involves advising on employment taxation, digital tax, GAAR, transfer pricing, indirect transfer tax, tax insurance, W&I insurance, transaction taxes, tax prosecution, GST, customs duty etc. Afaan also has extensive experience in representing clients in complex tax disputes before various administrative and judicial authorities.

Prior to joining Anagram Partners, Afaan worked as a Leader in the tax team of a pre-eminent law firm in India.
