Anagram Partners advised Bajaj Electricals to demerge its power business to form Bajel Projects an INR 12,600 million entity listed on the BSE and NSE

Bajaj Electricals Limited demerged its power transmission and power distribution business to form Bajel Projects Limited, an entity valued at INR 12,600 million. Anagram Partners advised on the demerger and the consequent issuance of equity shares of Bajel Projects Limited to the shareholders of Bajaj Electricals Limited and the listing of such equity shares on BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India
Limited.

Bajel Projects Limited (BPL) is a leading company in the business of power infrastructure and was formerly part of Bajaj Electricals Limited under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) segment.

Anagram Partners acted as the legal advisors to Bajaj Electricals on this demerger. The team was led by Partner, Arka Banerjee and comprised Aditi Tralshawala, Vidhisha Ambade and Anoushka Shetty.
