This partnership marks the largest deal for Indian-made armoured vehicles to date, both within India and on the global stage.
Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons is one of India’s foremost private sector players in the aerospace and defense sectors. TASL provides end-to-end solutions across systems, hardware, software, and digital technology, with the capability to integrate these across key platforms for securing land, sea, and air operations.
Under this partnership, TASL will supply Wheeled Armoured Platform (WhAP) vehicles to the Moroccan forces. The WhAP 8×8 is India’s First Amphibious Infantry Combat Vehicle (Wheeled), designed for optimised survivability and lethality. It is TASL’s flagship product, developed in collaboration with the DRDO and Tata Motors.
