About Anchal Dhir

With almost two decades in the profession, Anchal brings extensive experience in advising on domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity investments general corporate transactions and corporate governance mandates. She has advised leading Indian companies, global corporations, financial investors, market intermediaries and sponsors across sectors including financial services, consumer and retail, industrials, and healthcare. Her experience spans control acquisitions and exits, PIPE transactions, corporate restructurings, and joint ventures.

In 2023–24, she assisted the SEBI-convened Industry Standards Forum on disclosure guidance and the rumour verification framework and has had regular engagements with SEBI over the years, including contributing to the drafting of the Corporate Governance Report for the SEBI Committee chaired by Mr. Uday Kotak.

In addition, Anchal also brings deep expertise in corporate governance and regulatory advisory, including advising boards and listed companies on governance frameworks and regulatory issues. She is recognised as a ‘Key Lawyer’ by Legal 500 for Corporate and M&A (2025) and as a ‘Notable Practitioner’ by IFLR1000 for M&A (2019–2025).
