Anagram Partners launches Bengaluru office with the induction of Partners Ravisekhar Nair and Anind Thomas to the Firm.
Ravisekhar Nair brings over two decades of powerhouse experience in competition law, data privacy and regulatory matters. He has represented clients across a wide range of industry sectors in some of the most significant competition law investigations and proceedings before the Competition Commission of India (CCI), the Office of the Director General, CCI, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. Ravi joins Anagram with a team and will operate his practice across New Delhi and Bengaluru.
Ravi has worked closely with various government departments, including as a member of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ Law Firm Working Group on merger control regulations, and assisted the CCI in framing its draft regulations and amendments to the Competition Act. Ravi is regularly ranked for Competition and Antitrust by leading publication such as Chambers & Partners, Legal500, Who’s Who Legal, Benchmark Litigation and Forbes’ list of India’s top 100 lawyers.
Anind Thomas brings over 23 years of terrific experience in mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Data Protection and Dispute Resolution. Anind has advised Fortune 500 companies, global technology companies, international banks and other leading domestic and multinational businesses on technology, data protection, corporate, commercial and regulatory matters. He advises clients across a wide range of sectors, including representation before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal, and domestic and international arbitral tribunals. His practice also extends to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate practices.
Anind is a regular contributor to legal publications and practice guides on technology, data protection and consumer law and is regularly recognized by legal directories such as Legal 500 for his work in Data Protection.
